Chasteberry Powder (Monk's Pepper)

View Chasteberry Powder (Monk's Pepper) in more detail >>

Chaste tree berry extract has been known to contain an active principle that binds to D2 dopamine receptors in the hypothalamus/anterior pituitary, inhibiting the release of prolactin. This makes for interesting research of phytohormonal actions on "the happiness neurotransmittors" like serotonin and dopamine retention in our bodies when chaste berries are added to the mix. Can be made into a tea, added to food, or mixed with any of our elixirs or kanna for a heightened experience. We are proud to be the first to bring you this exciting plant.

Harad (Terminalia chebula) Dried Fruit

View Harad (Terminalia chebula) Dried Fruit in more detail >>

Harad (Terminalia chebula) is a dried ripe fruit used across Asia in Ayurvedic medicine as well as Chinese medicine and Tibetan medicine, where its name translates to, "The King," because almost all Tibetan herbal formulas contain the herb. It is one of the herbs used in "Triphala," a powerful antioxidant and detoxifying combination of Amla, Baheda, and Harad Fruits. Reported to contain various biochemical compounds, much of Harads power comes from its power packed tannins.

We do not recommend internal use of supplements or herbs without prior consultation with your doctor. Harad and Triphala are advised to avoid during pregnancy.

This kanna comes from a small farm that uses only wildcrafted kanna plants. This Kanna herb is green and finely powdered rather than tan and shredded, with a smokier aroma than other kinds. Kanna (South Africa) - Tea Cut

View Kanna (South Africa) - Tea Cut in more detail >>

Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a white blossomed ground covering succulent that only grows in its native region of South Africa, appropriately called Kanna Land. While the first western-observed use was over three centuries ago among the Khoikhoi peoples, Kanna is believed to have been a part of hunter-gatherer culture for thousands of years. We bring you this Kanna from a small farm in Kanna's homeland of South Africa, a farm we feel grows the best in the world. Available as a fermented dried leaf in tea cut and fine cut form.

This is the tea cut version of our South African Kanna, it is more than twice as coarse, with larger pieces, when compared to the Fine Cut version.

A plant with a deep and sacred history it is needless to say this South African Kanna is one of the new favorites at the shop. Since Kanna is still relatively new to most people, we are constantly researching new and more effective ways to bring this amazing plant to you as an incense component or aromatherapy blend.
