 I felt completely helpless and everything continued to burn intensely. I tried to run, but my legs felt like rubber bands, and I found that I was suspended in the air, taking off flying forward in one-second spurts, each time bursting through another wall. I began to feel extremely weak, and felt as though I were losing consciousness.

 The last thing I remember of the "normal" world was my sitter; Jeremy, asking me if I wanted any more. It was then that I asked him "What the fuck are you?" and layed my head back and shut my eyes. I remember being pulled down. I felt panicked but at the same time very very at home.

 There was a feeling like I was passed out in that bar in France and my friends were trying to revive me and sort of laughing / clapping / encouraging/welcoming me into the ""club"". It was like I was being let in on the joke, but I didn't quite get it. Or like it was a surprise birthday party,but I just didn't quite wake up to realize it was my birthday and that I was the center of attention.

Antidepressant Effects of Salvia Divinorum

 This unique case may be of interest to the psychiatric and psychopharmacological communities in demonstrating the possible therapeutic effects of the unique active components of salvia divinorum in a case of treatmentresistant depression. While the typical dose used by this patient in maintenance management of her depression, consisting of 2–3 leaves, is well below that reported to cause significant intoxication when taken orally, one cannot discount the possibility that some of the benefits derived from salvia divinorum were due to the psychedelic qualities associated with the larger doses of this herb used occasionally by this patient.
