What was it? Do I really beleive I skipped the light fantastic with alien beings? Hell, no. A hallucination was what it was. But now in my readings and studies I realize there's a lot more to consciousness than meets the eye. Strange quantum effects are possible say the physicists. I gotta believe them so I'm keeping an open mind.

Antidepressant Effects of Salvia Divinorum

This unique case may be of interest to the psychiatric and psychopharmacological communities in demonstrating the possible therapeutic effects of the unique active components of salvia divinorum in a case of treatmentresistant depression. While the typical dose used by this patient in maintenance management of her depression, consisting of 2–3 leaves, is well below that reported to cause significant intoxication when taken orally, one cannot discount the possibility that some of the benefits derived from salvia divinorum were due to the psychedelic qualities associated with the larger doses of this herb used occasionally by this patient.

My First Contact With Her

This is my first Salvia trip ever. I have waited for this not very long, but enough to comprehend how important She is before I try. This sounds akward, but it is somehow true: I am an active member of SalviaD mailing list, a reader of all I could find about it and I am currently translating "Sagewisdom's User's Guide" in Greek. All those happened after being a Psychonaut but before being a Salvianaut. So perhaps She showed to me like that, for I was somehow very well mentally prepared for my first experience.

I am outside. Twilight has deepened almost to night. I am at the end of a country road, no streetlights, field to the east, wooded mountain to the south, wooded gully to the west where three houses sit on the other side on another road. I'm in our private yard in a deck chair. I've been meditating after a bit of cannabis.
