Musk Root (Ferula moschata) - 16oz

Tonic Indians physicians have long prescribed it as a nervine tonic, carminative, and as an aromatic. In Ayurveda this herb is called, Divine Plant and is used to counteract the effects of day-to-day stress. Traditionally, it has been used as an air purifier as well. The root and the rhizome are antispasmodic, nervine, stimulant and tonic [4,46,61]. The medicinal action resembles that of valerian (Valeriana officinalis) and the plant is used in the treatment of various conditions [4]. It is also believed to have a specific action on the pelvic organs and is used in treating dysmenorrhoea and a wide range of other feminine disorders[4]. To use: soak in water for a few hours, to drink as a mild tea. Boil in water for a few minutes for a stronger tea. Powder and dissolve in water, then mix with vegetable oil to add to any herbal smoke. When mixed with an herbal smoke, it can enhance the flavor and to smoothen the smoke. References: [1] F.
