The Cree say that they can take Acorus Calamus root and travel great distances without touching the ground.It's even mentioned in the Bible in Exodus 30 and Solomon 4. A 2 section of the root reportedly had a stimulating effect, wheras a 6 section supposedly produced a visionary experience.
